Pictures Pictures Everywhere!

Ok family and friends - time for some more pictures. There are 2 new posts below with pictures for you to check out. To see more of our first family Christmas photo shoot pictures you can visit my facebook and see them all on there! Dusty Perez of Lily Photography does all of our professional photography work. She's captured our sister and brother-in-law's wedding, maternity pictures for both us and our sister/brother-in-law, newborn pictures for us (and soon for Lex and Jason as well!), and recently - our first family Christmas photo shoot. She is AMAZING, as you can see, and we will be using her for the rest of our lives!

Thanksgiving was amazing. 3 families to love on Gunner and 3 DELICIOUS home cooked meals. As I type this I am enjoying (immensely I might add), left overs of my mother-in-laws cornbread stuffing - PHENOMENAL!

It's full swing Christmas time in the Grimmett household. The tree is up, the stockings are up, all shopping is DONE and all presents are wrapped, the wreath is hanging from the front door and the hot cocoa is a brewin'. I absolutely LOVE this time of year for so many reasons. I love the extra time with loved ones and I LOVE THE COOLER WEATHER! It's amazing to just be able to open your windows at night as opposed to paying some astronomical APS bill. ;)

I hope you all are well and look for our Christmas cards/newsletters within the next couple weeks. We ordered them today so they should be here soon.

OK time to wrap up the laundry and get ready for date night with my man!

Love you all lots!

Tis' the season.......

See the latest pictures below! The preggo is my sister-in-law Lexie who is currently about 38 weeks pregnant and ready for the arrival of her beautiful baby girl, Kaydence. (professional maternity picture done by Dusty Perez www.lilyphotographydp.com) We are all on pins and needles waiting for the 2 am phone call that it's time to head to the hospital. We cannot WAIT for the newest addition!

I got a bit of an early start on Christmas decorating because I LOVE this time of year. So a couple weeks ago, we put the tree up and then last weekend me, Lexie, and my mother-in-law, Kathy made our family stockings! Kathy sewed them all and then Lexie and I decorated them. I will post some pictures of those closer up later on when I get them off my cell phone. We even made our first wreaths together for our front doors. Again, i'll get some pics of those up later too!

Thanksgiving is tomorrow and I am SO thankful for each and every one of you. Our friends and family make our lives that much more blessed and we love you all so much. A special thanks to our parents, Mary, James, Cheryl, Kathy, and Tony - you are just simply amazing parents. Another special thanks to our sister and brother, Lexie and Jason - you're our best friends and we love you dearly!

Tonight is a short blog as I have to get up early and do some cooking as I am sure the majority of you do as well. I will post again soon with some pics of Gunner's first Thanksgiving and HOPEFULLY of Kaydence!

Picnic, playgroups and standing - oh my!

Hello family and friends! Just as a quick note - there are 2 posts below this one with new pictures, check em' out!

Gunner is officially 7 months old and counting! WOW - has it really been that long already?! This time last year I was barely pregnant with him and now he is 7 months old and growing. I'm happy to report, he is FINALLY growing some hair! It's still just fuzz but Eli and I swear he gets more and more every day. Annnnnddddd he is standing - with support of course. He grabs onto his little gate cage and pulls himself up. I am SO not ready for standing. He will be walking by Christmas, i'm sure of it.

Last Friday we went to Gunner's very first mommy and baby play group. It's with a group of women that go to our church and we will be doing it every Friday morning. I am so excited about it not only for Gunner and the friends he will make and have for a lifetime but for me and the friends I will make and have for a lifetime! The women and their kids are so amazing and so much fun to be around.

Sunday Eli and I took Gunner to the park up here in Anthem for a little picnic and adventure around the park. We showed him the catch and release pond with the ducks and the waterfall! He had a lot of fun and the pictures below are from our adventure.

Massage school is going great. I am acing all my classes and am starting my next set of classes next week. I can't wait to start my next classes and be that much closer to graduating and getting my license so that I can start my own business.

Antelope season is over and Eli is busy working on the next video for his guiding business (www.pronghornguideservice.com) as well as some other things for their biz.

I am SO excited that it is officially fall and that it soon will be time to decorate the house Christmas style! We have our family Christmas pictures this coming Saturday and I have the cutest little pin striped suit to put Gunner in. Soon after that we will send out our Christmas cards/newsletters to everyone so stay tuned.

I hope and pray that this blog update finds you all well. We love you lots!

Eli, Sawana, and Gunner
